Infrastructure and servers
A server nobody notices is a well-built server. We choose hardware and software for your real needs, set them up cleanly and document them.
- Windows Server and Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux) — installation, configuration and upgrades
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policies, file and print servers
- Storage: NAS, RAID, iSCSI, shared storage for virtualization
- Server monitoring with alerts before a problem becomes an outage
Virtualization
We work with the three most widely used platforms, help you choose the right one — and move from one to another without losing data.
Proxmox VE
Clusters, Ceph or ZFS storage, high availability, replication and Proxmox Backup Server.
VMware vSphere
ESXi and vCenter: setup, upgrades, maintenance — and a plan to move on if the licensing no longer pays off.
Microsoft Hyper-V
Hyper-V hosts and clusters on Windows Server, replication and Active Directory integration.
We plan migrations VMware → Proxmox, Hyper-V → Proxmox and physical server → virtual machine step by step, with a trial run and a way back.
Backup and disaster recovery
A backup is only worth something if you can restore from it. That is why we set it up tested, protected against ransomware and documented.
- The 3-2-1 rule: three copies, two media, one off-site
- Immutable copies and encryption, so even an attacker with an administrator account cannot delete them
- Automatic restore tests and occasional full-system recovery drills
- A disaster recovery plan: what comes back first, who does what and how long it takes
- With BackupZit, our open-source software, or with the solution you already use
Networks and security
- Firewalls and routers (e.g. OPNsense, pfSense, MikroTik), VPN for remote work and site-to-site links
- Network segmentation (VLANs), guest Wi-Fi, secure remote access
- Hardening of servers and workstations, patch management, multi-factor sign-in
- Security review: what is exposed to the internet, who has which rights and where the weak spots are — with fixes ordered by priority
Microsoft 365
- Moving mail and files to Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams)
- Choosing licenses, users and groups, shared mailboxes
- Security settings: multi-factor sign-in, conditional access, phishing protection
- Backup of Microsoft 365 data — Microsoft runs the service, but your data is your responsibility
Maintenance contracts
For businesses without their own IT team, or that need extra hands: regular maintenance for an agreed monthly price instead of paying for every call.
- Monitoring of servers, backups and the network, with alerts when something is wrong
- Regular updates and backup checks
- Help for your staff (remote, and on site when needed)
- Up-to-date documentation and a periodic report on the state of your systems
Scope and price depend on the number of servers, users and sites. Write to us for a quote.
Consulting
When a decision is due: which virtualization platform, how to organize backups, whether to move to Microsoft 365, what to do about VMware licensing, how to meet data-protection requirements. You get an independent assessment and a written proposal.
